Reppien & Cie has designed and created its own fund, the “Reppien & Cie Select Value Fund”. The investments in the Fund are based on the principles of value investing, which involves looking for undervalued companies with strong fundamentals and holding onto them for the long term (For more information follow this link).

The fund typically holds 8-12 securities at a time. We are firm believers that holding a portfolio of 20-40 securities will impact the returns negatively, i.e., the logic being that your very best security (no. 1) will deliver better results than security no. 40. Diversification makes sense, but only to a certain degree.
